PEDRAN HARPS
Hand-Crafted, Quality Harps. Made to last a life-time.

About Us
We are a small family, tucked away in the rolling hills of the Welsh countryside, and we take great pride in keeping things close to home—quite literally. Every harp we make is built by hand, right here in our own workshop. The name Pedran comes from the valley where Tom grew up—a place rich in history, myth, and meaning. In fact, the Pedran Valley is mentioned in the Mabinogion, the legendary Welsh tales from the 12th century.
But Pedran means more than just a place. The name itself translates to stone—a symbol of strength, boldness, and reliability. Those three words are the foundation of everything we do.
Tom Watkins is the hands, heart, and soul behind every harp—our lead (and only!) craftsman, who’s been building harps since 2013. I play too—still learning, self-taught—but I know the magic of a harp that’s been made with care, intention, and love.
We’re committed to working with the land, not against it. All of our wood is sustainably sourced, and the ash we use is taken only from naturally fallen trees—often just a stone’s throw from our home. You really can’t get more local than that.
So, if you’re looking for a harp that’s crafted with soul, rooted in Welsh heritage, and built to last a lifetime—we’d be honoured to make one for you
